I just heard Jim say, "life is good!" And indeed it is.

He spent the morning on the golf course (winning three bucks off the guys cause his new driver made him the winner today), and I spent the morning in my silversmithing class and made the cutest pair of dicronium glass earrings! For afternoon fun, we treated ourselves to a date at Home Depot and then gluten-free pizza at Ballucci's in Tualatin. Fun just happens sometimes!

Tomorrow we will play some golf together after church and soak up the sunshine that is forecasted.

Our lives have changed a bit in the last four months as our granddaughter, Lydia, has come to live with us. Having an eighteen-year old around brings all kinds of fun, drama, laughter, and even some challenges, but most of all we are blessed and we pray that Lydia, too, will be blessed.

Last night we joined another couple on a date to the Gallery Players Theater to see "Carousel".. and dinner out. A great time with great friends. The play was one of a few that Jim's mom, Dorothy, was not a member of the cast (she's been in three plays this past year). We look forward to her next play, probably this fall. She's such an amazing, inspiring woman!
